Jonathan Howell, Chairman of the Supervisory Board
from February 2008 Jonathan Howell was appointed Group Finance Director of Close Brothers Group plc, London and was also appointed Non-Executive Director of Winterflood Securities Limited. He joined Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1983 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 1986. Later, he joined the London Stock Exchange in 1996 and was appointed to the Main Board in 1999 holding the position of Finance Director until early 2008.
Mike Hines, Member of the Supervisory Board
joined Close Brothers in April 1993 on the acquisition of Winterflood Securities and he was appointed director of the company in March 2002. He retired in 2008 from the Board of Close Brothers Group plc. He was previously with Bisgood Bishop for many years.
Elizabeth Lee, Member of the Supervisory Board
from September 2009 Elizabeth Lee was appointed Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of Close Brothers Group plc, London. From 2006-2009 she was Managing Director, European General Counsel and Head of Legal, Compliance and Audit for Europe at Lehman Brothers, London. Previously, at GE Money London she was Global General Counsel and before that held various positions at General Electric Capital Corp., Asian Capital Partners and Richard Butler, Solicitors. Mrs. Lee is admitted as a solicitor in England, Wales and Hong Kong.
